New to the diaries? Start here.
Saturday I got up early and went over to mom's to get the kiddos. I feel like I didn't see them much this week. Anyway, I brought them home, got them ready to go to Tammy's. Then I had to nap before Mr. Wonderful drug me out to Eureka to see his Aunt and Uncle. It actually wasn't so bad. I just miss sitting home doing NOTHING. I feel like we're always going somewhere. Anyway, I got up from my short nap and we got on the road. Took the dog. Got out there and we walked out to where the cows are and they all stared at me... it was pretty creepy having cows STARE at me like that. Anyway, we ate some good food that his Aunt made and we drank some beer. Then we went out after dark and stole some fish from the neighbor and put them in his family's ponds to hopefully reproduce. I actually caught a fish, it was cool. I think I caught one with Daddy's help back when I was 11. Anyway, then I crashed. The room was cold and had no curtains, plus I don't sleep well in strange places, so I didn't sleep too well. The next day I stayed in bed until almost noon. Got up, walked around their property with Mr. W and his Aunt. A "Tundra Trudge" she calls it, like her flute-playing buddy Jethro Tull. Then we went back to the house, had some lunch, watched some TV, then Mr. Wonderful wanted to go fishing. I was like "Really? I want to go HOME." We got everything loaded up and he reveals that he just wanted to find someplace to "do it." Ha! He's so funny. So we take the truck off-roading across the prairie hills. THEN he decides he wants to go skinny-dipping. Well, any of you that have ever read those surveys that I do RELIGIOUSLY know that I have never done that. Not in a pool, not in a lake, not in a pond... never. Well he talks me into it and after trying one of the bigger ones (too cold) we try a small little pool at the base of a small waterfall (just a little above my head, fed by a little creek not more than a few inches deep.) We got in and it was warmer and I hugged him and I felt something weird on the front of my leg. Well, I was nekkid, so I figured I knew what it was. Then I felt it on the back of my leg and I knew that wasn't him. I said "Was that you? Did you just pinch my butt?" He was like, "No, why? AAAH!" and he screamed like a little girl and started bolting for the side. He left me there!!!! It was probably just a fish or something, but it could have been a snake and so we were DONE with the skinny dipping. We went and sat in the little creek to check for bites. Then I decided I wanted to get dressed. I stood up and went over to the clothes and a friggin truck comes up over the hill with people in the bed of it looking straight at me. ACK! I crouched down and hoped for them to go behind a tree so I could pull a shirt on. They did and I dressed quickly, but Mr. Wonderful was still in the creek, NUDE. So he figured out who it was, his Uncle Joe and some of his friends, and I took him a shirt. He got dressed quickly and we took off past the new fishermen and I was looking pretty embarrassed. Then we finally figured we'd better just go home. We got back to town and took a shower. Got a list ready for Wal-Mart and went and spent 200 dollars on groceries for my new diet. See next paragraph.
We got a new Bowflex TreadClimber last week. It came with a Six-Week, Fast Fat Loss, Body Leanness program thingy. Complete with meal plan and everything. So I'm going to do it. I have just a little over 6 weeks until I go to Phoenix with Karen and the heathens, so we'll see how quickly I can get to bathing-beauty status. (Side note, Mr. Wonderful tells me everytime I get on this kick that I'm beautiful and he thinks this will help my stress level but I don't need it to be sexy... he's perfect.) I worked out this morning on the new Bowflex for 30 mintues. The diet's really calorie restrictive, and I have to drink a TON of water. I've already been to the bathroom twice this morning and I have to go again. Mr. Wonderful told me this morning that he's really proud of me and he hopes I feel more energized and less stressed since I worked out on the Bowflex this morning. He is so nice. I don't know how I got so lucky. Anyway, so I'll kind of blog my progress and stuff, basically I'm just gauging it on how I feel and whether or not I can wear my pants without a "muffin top." Haha.
Next week, the grammar cop in me gets really irritated.
